We work with individuals with barriers to work, such as ASD, learning difficulties and mental health concerns. Through our practical cooking groups and in person service we encourage individuals to develop their skills and confidence. These include the practical cooking skills, interpersonal skills as our kitchen requires co-ordination and teamwork, time keeping and food creativity.
We reduce food waste where we can by taking market surplus donations from supermarkets. We try and find a use for everything and what we can't use we offer to our team and other charities.
We aim to bring communities together by providing for events that people can gather at and enjoy food together.
We are a part of Uppertunity Ltd, a charity supporting individuals with additional needs. Our food services gives members an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation and hospitality.
